Topic Answer
What are your requirements for the puppy's living environment? Transitioning a puppy to a new home requires a consistent schedule. Our puppies are sold exclusively as indoor family pets to ensure their health and happiness. While they can be crated for up to 4 hours at a time, they need a break at midday for exercise and a meal. Please plan to feed your puppy three times daily until they reach 6 months of age to support their growth.
When do you accept deposits, and are they refundable? We do not accept deposits until we have a puppy available for you. Once availability is confirmed, we accept Venmo, Check, or Cash. For your peace of mind, deposits are fully refundable if you ultimately decide not to take a puppy home. We want every family to feel 100% confident in their decision.
Can I visit the puppies? Absolutely! We love introducing our puppies to their future families. To ensure the puppies have had enough time to develop their immune systems and bond with their mother, we begin welcoming visitors once the litter reaches 4 weeks of age.
Do I get to pick my own puppy? Yes! We want you to feel a deep connection with your new companion. While you make the final decision, we act as your partners in the process by providing insight into the unique personality traits we’ve observed in each puppy during their early weeks with us.
When and how do I choose my puppy? Your gender preference is established when you place your deposit. Puppy selection takes place at 6 weeks, once the litter has received their vet clearances. We reach out to families individually based on their pick number (e.g., 1Female, 2Female). As soon as the family ahead of you chooses, we will contact you so you can make your selection. Because other families are waiting, please have your favorites in mind so you are ready to decide when it is your turn. If you are the final pick and feel the remaining puppy isn’t the right match, we offer a deposit refund or the option to move your spot to a future litter.
How do I receive my puppy? To ensure a safe and stress-free transition, puppies are released directly to their new owners. While we strongly discourage the use of third-party commercial transport services, we may approve a designated representative in special circumstances. If you are unable to pick up your puppy in person, we may be able to arrange a personal delivery or meet-up for an additional fee based on mileage. Please contact us to discuss these options.
What vaccinations will my puppy need next? Your puppy will arrive home with their first round of vaccinations completed. To ensure your puppy is healthy and to establish a care plan, you must schedule a wellness exam within 72 hours of bringing them home. We recommend a morning appointment as a precaution; this ensures your vet is available throughout the day should your puppy have a minor reaction to a vaccine. During this initial visit, your veterinarian will review the health records we provide and advise you on the specific schedule for their upcoming boosters.
How do you choose the names for the puppies? From the very beginning of our program, we decided to give each puppy a unique name associated with a specific color. While we started with basics like Red, Yellow, and Blue, we’ve enjoyed getting more creative over the years! Naming them this way is a fun part of our process that helps us track their growth and get to know their individual personalities. We do our best to never repeat a name, ensuring your puppy’s 'nursery name' is as unique as they are.
